Education and social equality

Abstract

Currently, education in developing countries of Latin America depends, to a certain extent, on the historical and geographical context in which they are developed. Teaching in Mexico obeys the governments in progress through the Ministry of Public Education and the study programs that they mark as compulsory subjects to develop skills according to social needs. Education is not only the reception of knowledge but also implies the possibility of producing social changes at the national, and even international, level through the ideologies that are used in it. For this reason, in this article the importance 29 of education for the strengthening of social equality is developed, it is a documentary-theoretical investigation, based on an objective discourse of equality, in which it is concluded that education is, and has always been, not only a tool, but rather, a support of the ideas of change or social delay.
