Implications in collaborative learning derived from online teaching at high school
Abstract
The objective of this study is to evaluate the implications that collaborative learning has had in upper secondary education after the health contingency caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus since February 2020. A qualitative research is presented with a population of 729 high school students, and a sample of 80 students. The problem and the hypothesis were raised. The instrument that was applied consists of a questionnaire structured as a Likert scale, duly validated. With the descriptive statistics, it can be seen that one of the main repercussions is related to the implementation of technology, since it places some students at an academic disadvantage (60% of the sample indicates that sometimes they do not have these means); yet another refers to normative aspects derived from school regulations. The influence of constructivism in academic training in times of pandemic is established, and in the same way, it is pointed out how high school students generate their social representations about collaborative work.
