An interpretive approach to development of Normal Education from 1975 to 2018 through Sociology of Education
Abstract
In order to talk about the sociology of education, it is considered necessary to approach each of the terms separately and to make an interpretive approach to how Normal Education has developed, especially for the present work between 1975 and 2018. This article shows an overview of the different reforms that have been made in normal schools, passing through the different presidential administrations and presenting how decisions have been made in each of these that impact the education of the institutions that train teachers in Mexico. The purpose is to show the development of this education through theoretical arguments of the sociology of education, in which I have traveled, first as a student and later as a teacher. It is undoubtedly an experience that has been lived with its different processes, which were derived from the decisions of the State for Normal Education.
